Snippy and Wulfric have begrudgingly teamed up to defeat the Demon King. However, in an attempt to progress through a cave, Snippy accidentally causes a collapse! The two have to work together to find a way out, or risk perishing to the monsters inside…
This is a prototype of a game concept I've had for a long time! While it has some rough edges, I'm pretty happy with the experience as a whole, though if I continue development I do plan to make some considerable changes. Consider this an experimental foray into RPGs, storytelling, and a unique combat system.
There is an attached PDF to mimic an instructional booklet, but here's the controls if you don't want to read through it:
OVERWORLD
- Move: WASD / Arrows
- Advance Text: Space / (Left Click on-screen arrow)
- Pick up Items: (Walk into items)
- Pause: Esc
COMBAT
- Select Character: Left Click character
- Move Character: Select character, then select tile to move to
- Attack: Select character, then their attack, then the available highlighted space (some attacks only have certain range)
- Use Item: Select target character, then press Item, then choose the item
PUZZLES
- Move block: Left Click block's arrow for movement direction
- Get red block to the exit on the right!
