Li'l Hatchling

"You've been abandoned by your mother. Fight through enemies and the harsh, unyielding wilderness to look for her. What will be your fate, and what was hers? Only time will tell."

Personal project which I'd love to finish one day, a platformer focused on both simplicity, difficulty, and intuitiveness. The goal was to make it so the player could figure everything out beginning to end with 0 instructions, but just in case, here's the controls below.

Controls:

- Move left/right: Left/right arrow keys or A/D or Controller left/right arrow keys

- Jump: Space bar or Up arrow key or W or Controller [bottom/right face buttons]

- Pause: Enter or Esc or P or Controller [pause button]

- Enter (menu): Enter or Jump

Programs used:

- Godot (game engine)

- ZapSplat (sound fx library)

- FireAlpaca/Clip Studio Paint (graphics)

The game, concept, and ideas were all solely by me, but I've received advice and adjusted many things based on the feedback from the many people willing to playtest the game for me, and would like to thank them.
