About Online Play / Full Release

Hi there! Since the last update I've been looking into implementing online play every now and then, and have come to the conclusion:

Online play will take a LONG TIME!

I'm not aware of any free-to-use, fully functional Godot rollback code, which means I'll have to learn and code it from scratch, as someone with 0 networking knowledge. I may have mentioned finding one a while back, but it doesn't have all the features I need, and to add those features I'll still need fundamental networking knowledge.

I still want DracoFighter to have online play on release, and since I planned to have the game release this year, I'm sorry to say I'm really disappointed too. I expect online play to take anywhere between 6 months to a year to learn and implement, but it can easily take more. While I could possibly find someone to implement it, I'd prefer to do it myself for multiple reasons, and this is the best opportunity for me to learn networking anyway.

This will take a while not only because of the inherent time it takes to learn something new, but because of my current responsibilities and motivation. I'll most likely release a few games in that time to keep the ball rolling, especially including a game to test out networking code.

Until then, PLEASE CONSIDER USING PARSEC: https://parsec.app/

Parsec will allow you to play the game online! It's not a perfect solution as an external program without rollback, but from my experience it's very serviceable, depending on your connection.

And of course, thank you all for your support so far! I really appreciate all the comments and encouragement I've received for my passion project.
